Dr. Rothstein graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Williams College. He then earned his Doctorate of Medicine at University of Utah School of Medicine, in Salt Lake City, UT. He completed his internal medicine internship at University of Utah, then entered the Washington University ophthalmology residency program. He received fellowship training in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at Sinskey Eye Institute, in Santa Monica, CA.
Dr. Rothstein is an active teaching faculty member in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at Washington University School of Medicine. He enjoys teaching surgery to the residents at Veteran's Administration Hospital in St. Louis.
He then completed a glaucoma research fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis, followed by an internal medicine internship at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary in Chicago.
Dr. Barrow received her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and received her medical degree from the University of Illinois. She did her internship in transitional medicine at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI and completed her residency in ophthalmology at Kresge Eye Institute at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI., where she was chief resident.Dr. Barrow received her fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery from McPherson Retina Center at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. She is a diplomate if the American Board of Ophthalmology.Dr. Barrow is originally from Centralia, IL. She joined the practice at Cataract & Eye Disease Specialists in 2002. She is committed to treating every patient with compassion and respect, using the most modern and effective methods to treat their conditions. In her spare time, Dr. Barrow enjoys running, cycling and watching the St. Louis Cardinals.
Dr. Shetty graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in international public health from Duke University in Durham, NC. She earned her Doctorate of Medicine at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. She completed her internship at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur, MO. She did her ophthalmology residency training at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO, where she then served as chief resident of ophthalmology at Washington University and Barnes Jewish Hospital for one year. She completed a fellowship training in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at Washington University in St. Louis, MO.
Dr. Shetty is an active teaching faculty member in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at Washington University School of Medicine. In addition to her clinical practice, she participates in international eye mission trips, speaks at community events and academic lectures, and reviews scholarly manuscripts for International Ophthalmology.
